Welcome to the 8th edition of Tasting Lanzarote Food and Wine Festival, the date that have lately become the most important gastronomic event in the Canary Islands.
The program has a complete agenda of activities, that you can also check on these pages. Activities are distributed in different areas, such as:
Aula del Gusto (Taste Room): We can assist here to masterclasses from international well-know chefs as Paco Pérez with 5 Michelin Stars, Diego Guerrero with 2 Stars, Pepe Solla, María José San Román and Juan Carlos Padrón with 1 Star, besides other great local and national chefs.
Aula Saborea Lanzarote (Tasting Lanzarote Room): Here, some members from Lanzarote Cocina will carry out cooking workshops based on local.
Aula Chinijo Chef (Litte Chef Room): This is a space for the little ones, where kids from 6 to 14 years old experiment and have fun cooking. We will have with us Aina Roglán, participant of the famous TV show Masterchef Spain.
Casa del Producto Canario (Canary Product House): Located in the Museum of the Temple (typical Canary music instrument), this space pretends to promote the consumption and knowledge of the Canary Gastronomy. The space is divide into the Wine tunnel, the Cheese tunnel, Product Workshop and the Canten for tasting.
There will also be a corner called Tasting Canary Island, where a total of 9 restaurant, representativa each one of the islands, will do show cooking and share their gastronomy through both, traditional and innovative recipes.
This year, Tasting Spain will participate again with the following destination coming to present their gastronomy and high-quality products: Tasting Cambrils, Tasting Sevilla, Tasting Trujillo, Tasting Tenerife, Tasting Lanzarote and Tasting Gran Canaria.
There will be a Traditional Cooking Contest, too. This contest consist on 7 participant from each one of Lanzarote's municipalities cooking their own recipes live in front of an exigent jury.
